The whole GUEST house, yours alone
Mon Petit Cottage was built in 2022 and was awarded five stars by Fáilte Ireland the following year. Most weeks we run it as a bed and breakfast. But the house was built for gathering — and when one group takes all of it, that's when it does what it does best.

Why Rent the Whole House?
If there are more than two of you, taking the house entirely isn't just nicer — it works out better in almost every way.
1 — Nobody else in the house. No shared living space, no strangers at the next table, no keeping your voices down. The front door, the kitchen, the sitting rooms and the garden belong to your group for the length of your stay.

One price for the whole house rather than three rooms booked separately — and with a full guest kitchen at your disposal, you're not paying restaurant prices three times a day.
3 — Your own timetable
Breakfast when you are ready. Children to bed early, the rest of you up late in the sitting room. No sittings to make, no schedule but yours.
4 — Plenty of space to actually be together. Two living areas, a dining table with a mountain view and a patio with a large picnic table. Space to spend the evening in each other's company rather than sitting on the end of a bed.

Renting a house doesn't mean you are on your own for food!
We can prepare your full breakfast for the whole group — the same one that earned us our five stars!
Evening meals can be booked in advance. We can also prepare packed lunches for a day on Mount Leinster or the Barrow Way, or cook you a delicious 3-course meal for your whole group.
We will work around any dietary requirement you have — just tell us when you book!
